Tuesday Tankday part 516!

Great artwork done with airbrush and fineline pen I think

80's style paint

My guess this style is a couple of years away from us yet! I love it!

Sold

And regrets already! Insane springer fork that was probably handmade by someone. If anyone knows more about it, let me know.
Good to know it stays close and Paul is going to do something cool with it. He should have a rolling bike with it within 2 months for an upcoming show. I'll keep you guys updated!

Rat bike

ratbike debut in the 1980s? This one looks like it was a nice customized 70s chopper before it was fucked with black paint

Sweet old XS650

Marcel from Germany asked for some more pics of my old XS650 which I sold maybe 4 years ago. Every once in a while people still ask for it and apparently they like its style. These pics were made by the Flying Dutchman for the dutch Bigtwin magazine and the ones with the different tank were for the for sale ad. (It got stripped of some cool parts!) The bike went from hand to hand and finally ended up being even more stripped down and flat black and lost its karma!
The funny thing is that Sik from the greaseheadquarters finally got hold of that awesome sissybar and still enjoys it every day. Mr Magic traded his green XS for an Ironhead sportster and kept the tank which later moved on to Knukkel's pan project. So that's all good!

It was a pretty nice XS at the time, and my first attempt to building an "oldschool" (...yeah, I know!) chopper. Some cool features like the metalflake seat, 21inch front wheel, sissybar and chromed Wassel fender really set it apart back then. the forks were cool too, original 34mm with chromed chopper trees. Still have the tank, risers and Aris!

the green bike in the back was mr Magic's which he trade for a running ironhead and 1000bucks to boot, the lucky bastard!

Mr magic wondering why my carbs were flying all over the place that day!

a little high color saturation, but this is how the bike looked when sold, you can see some small differences with the above bike.

Don't know where it is now, and I'm too afraid to ask how it ended up!
